The Meeting is Over

The Meeting Is Over is a performance, installation, and collective formed in 2025 at Chelsea College of Arts.

Within the framework of a compulsory collective and its assessment criteria, an assumed shared political identity quickly became unstable.

The group decided the only way to escape the identity projected onto them was through symbolic death.

While digging the collective's grave on campus, they unearthed a Second World War bomb, triggering the evacuation of the university.

The funeral took place the following day in front of the fenced off grave, mourning a site made inaccessible by its own containment.
